Mill City Fall Fest 2024
Date: Sunday November 3
Time: Event time 4pm-6pm (volunteers to arrive no later than 3:15)
This is another opportunity for some light-hearted fun that brings the community together and onto our campus. Our primary goal is to continue to connect with families in the Cayce area and let them know that we are here.
We will be having The Chillin’ Cow Creamery and Kurt’s Kitchen Catering food trucks, an obstacle course bounce house, a Chili cook-off, and multiple event stations for people to participate in!
Many things will need to come together in order for this event to be pulled off successfully. Most importantly we will need a number of volunteers:
Volunteers to host event tables (we’re looking for at least 15 tables)
Volunteers to participate in a Chili Cook-Off (we’re looking for at least 8 volunteers)
Volunteers to help on the night with logistics like parking, welcoming, floating, first aid, etc.
Volunteers to monitor the obstacle course bounce house (we’re looking for 8 to do 30 minute increments)
(Before signing up for an Activity/Event Table, make sure to look at the roster at the bottom of this page so that we don’t have any duplicate event activities)
The Plan
Volunteers arrive between 3 and 3:15 and set up in the designated area depending on how much set up is needed.
We will have parking volunteers to help direct traffic, and greeters to welcome visitors and direct them to all activities.
We simply want to treat the community to a fun, safe evening and continue to get to know our neighbors.
